Dr. Bryan Simons grew up in the piney hills of Longview, Texas where he graduated from Longview High School with Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey in 1988. He went on to enroll in Texas A&M University's PreDent program from 1988-1992. After 4 great years at A&M, he was accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he not only became a Dentist but met his wife of 10+ years Traci Simons DDS,MS. Besides spending time with his large family, he also is the lead singer and song writer to the soon to be multiplatinum band the "White Trash Cowboys". Surely you have heard of us!! Anyway, he moved to Austin in 2000 and started building "Simons Family Dental Center" which was completed and ready for business in 2001. He, like his wife, spent a week in the jungle of Guatemala practicing dentistry on the underprivileged people who had never seen a 6'3" white man coming at them with a syringe in his hand. An unbelievable experience I recommend to all!! Almost as fun as opening up for the Marshall Tucker Band in 2003.
Dr. Minhha Nguyen (nicknamed Minnie) first discovered her desire to become a dentist while obtaining her B.S. at Texas A&M Unversity.  After obtaining her dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Nguyen completed her residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the UT Dental-San Antonio.  Dr. Nguyen loves to knit, shop, read and eat!!!!  She especially loves to spend time with her fiancé, Sean.
Dr. Traci Simons received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas in El Paso in 1992. She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1997. She completed her residency and earned a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry in association with Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. Dr. Traci went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Baylor College of Dentistry/Texas A & M University Systems. Dr. Traci is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the Texas Association of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Traci has traveled with Faith in Practice to provide dental care to underprivledged children in Guatemala. She loves spending time with her husband Bryan and the five (yes…FIVE) beautiful children they have been blessed with. Drs. Bryan and Traci Simons opened Simons Family Dental Center in October 2001.
Bob is our Office Manager and general fix-it guy. He's been with us since 2000. Prior to this he was involved in real estate sales and management of manufacturing companies. Bob is also the proud father of Dr. Traci Simons. He is always ready to answer any questions you may have as well as assist you any way possible.
Marilyn has been with us over 5 years now. She graduated from UTHSC in Houston and also has a BBA from The University of Houston. She loves to work with people and kids. She also is an animal lover. She has several birds, dogs, and fish.
Griseth is our front desk receptionist. She has also been with us since 2002. Her job is to assist you with anything from setting appointments to answering the questions you may have. She likes to learn new things that have to do with the dental field.
Gail is one of our general dentistry assistants. She has been a part of the team since 2002. She is great at making any anxious patients feel very comfortable. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family.
Amanda is one of our full-time hygienists who also serves as the office event coordinator. She graduated in 2003 as a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member from the Tyler Junior College Dental Hygiene program. Originally from Longview, Texas, Amanda moved to Austin in 2004.
Danielle is one of Dr. Traci’s dental assistants and is always ready to greet your child with a warm and gentle smile. She truly loves her job and it shows. Danielle and her husband Jason moved to Austin in 2000 from San Antonio. In 2004 after completing Dental Assisting School through Austin Community College, she joined our team. When Danielle is not at work she enjoys taking walks with her two dogs, gardening, and reading.
Lindsay is one of our full time dental assistants and is also attending Austin Community College. Lindsay plans to be accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at ACC in the fall of 2008. Lindsay’s experience in childcare helps the children feel very comfortable being at the dentist. In the little spare time she has she really enjoys being in her twenties!
Kayla is one of our front office assistants. She is also going to school to become a dental hygienist. She helps us out by making appointments, answering phones, checking patients in and out, and will soon be getting some experience assisting in the back. When she is not studying for school, she loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, laughing, and learning new things.
Tracy is a dental hygienist, educated at Forsyth School for Dental Hygiene in Boston, Massachusetts. She enjoys spending her free time with her 4 children, running, and walking her 2 labs
